Running a business is hard enough without having to worry about how you are going to find new prospects, customers and clients. But it is absolutely necessary to grow or even just maintain your business.

Some business have been out long enough to get repeat customers or referrals, but what if you are a new business or a business that has sporadic ups and downs? It becomes a crap shoot as to what your revenue will look like from month to month.

If you spend time on marketing, sometimes it becomes a majority of your efforts if you don't have a reliable way to bring in business automatically. So you are at a crossroads. You could do your own marketing, you could hire an employee or you can hire a marketing agency or advertising service.
